Vindhya's Purpose
Vindhya Cultural Association is
organized exclusively for educational, charitable, and
religious purposes. In all activities, admission will be open to people of
all races and nationalities, provided their intent is not the disruption
of the activities of the Association.
Vindhya Cultural Association is
organized to:

Educate the community on South Indian culture
-
Conduct an all day music festival
at least once a year, honoring the great composers of South Indian
Classical Music. Accomplished artists, amateurs and people who are
learning music are invited to participate and show talents

Conduct workshops on all aspects of
music and religion from the Indian Subcontinent. Educate the children in
the community on South Indian culture

Conduct functions in remembrance of
important Indian religious Festivals: at least two such functions will
be held every year Interested Members and the Members are trained on
Folk Dances, Music, Skits, and perform for the function and the
community is educated on the religious aspects of the functions

Conduct functions to celebrate
important Indian Festivals: at least two such functions will be held
every year. Interested Members with talents and the Members who are
trained in Indian Folk Dances, Music, Skits, perform at the function and
the community is educated on the all aspects of the functions
Charitable Activities:

Periodically
organize charitable fund raisers exclusively to aid natural disaster victims, as and when needed

Provide opportunities for people without Indian Cultural interests to collectively engage in cultural activities

Encourage the cultural talents of the Association's Members

Cooperate with
all other similar associations in Ohio and other places in matters of common interest
