Photo and Video Disclaimer

Vindhya Cultural Association of Columbus, OH (VCA) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken by an authorized VCA member at any event organized by VCA, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. VCA may use the photograph/video in publications or other media produced, used, or contracted by VCA, including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newsletters, television, website, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

To ensure the privacy of children, images and videos will not have a title or description with the participant’s full name or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent, or legal guardian.

By participating in a VCA event, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify VCA from any and all claims involving the use of your pictures or videos.

Any person or organization not affiliated with VCA may not use, copy, alter, or modify VCA photographs, graphics, videography, or other similar reproductions and recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from VCA.

COVID-19 Disclaimer

While participating in events held by Vindhya Cultural Association (VCA), consistent with CDC guidelines, participants, volunteers, sponsors, audience and others in attendance are strongly encouraged to practice hand hygiene, social distancing, wear face coverings, and get vaccinated to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. If you or anyone in your household have the symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, please refrain from attending the event.


Your safety is important to us and here are the CDC recommendations on how to protect yourself and others when attending large gatherings. However, unless required by CDC guidelines, VCA will not be enforcing attendees to follow these recommendations. By participating in a VCA event, you agree that you are voluntarily participating and are freely assuming risks related to illness and infectious disease.
